It&#039;s not just because it would have fewer side effects on the women they care about, but because it would give them more power and more effective birth control than condoms over their own &quot;reproductive rights&quot;. Taking the pill themselves would ensure more choice in whether they produce a child or not. (While women can choose to terminate a pregnancy, men cannot.)
