Walt Natynczyk to head the Canadian Armed Forces was hailed in Washington on Friday by senior U.S. army officers who worked with him four years ago in Iraq". "Col. Dan Baggio also served with Natynczyk in Baghdad and until a few weeks ago, was responsible for army media relations at the Pentagon. Baggio, who now works in a joint forces headquarters that has among its responsibilities, defending Washington from attack, described Natynczyk as “the best mentor” he had had during 29 years in the U.S. army". For those with any doubts that a lot of Canadians are in a coma and media have generally downplayed our role. I'll leave it to the media critics to tell us whether this was intentional or not. A friend sent me a copy of this article, which I am glad to have read. The "hoax," so it would seem, was the Canadian government's claim that they were 'staying out' of Iraq in 2003. Sure, in order for private Canadian war profiteers ('vulture capitalists'?) to flood in, while the public looked the other way! Anonym's comments are "rubbish." And there is no laughter but tears. As peace loving Canadians take up arms while hundreds and thousands of Afganastans end up dead as its a war of war as there appears to be no end in sight while a few prosper at the expense of many.
