Born and raised in Canada, I am going to visit Mindanao very soon. Why was the disaster not properly cleaned up? Many people and animals and plant life have suffered and died because of this. Is this the real Canadian spirit? Have the people of the Philippines not endured enough yet? this legacy left by Canadians in the Philippines, makes it difficult for me to feel proud as a Canadian citizen.
